A happy start to the day

It is always nice to wake up to good news, whether it is about me, my family or even a complete stranger and the news today about the freed hostage Jill Carrol was elating.

I was up early getting my 11 year old daughter ready for her third Ski lesson up at Whistler mountain, which she is really enjoying and I always turn on the news and there it was, a hostage story with a happy ending.

Maybe there is hope over there, maybe it is a sign of better days... maybe we can bring all our men and women home safe... hey one can be optimistic ... right?
